What's there to do in Wautoma anyway?

As I've said in other posts, Wautoma is a small, rural town. There are many beautiful views if you would like to explore the scenery or take some really great pictures. My sister (Amy) and my Dad (Al) are the family experts on photo opportunities and would share some ideas for you there. They may even be free to go with you and show you themselves!

There is a very nice park located near the high school and middle school. It is nice sized, though if you are unaccustomed to the cold you might get chilled quickly there unless you bundle up warm.

If you are up for a drive there are shopping opportunities and of course cheese stores waiting to be explored!

There are some delightful opportunities to experience Amish craftsmanship and bakery items as well.

Wautoma Chamber of Commerce site *local*
Waupaca Chamber of Commerce site *fairly close and with beautiful scenery, known for it's "chain 'o lakes"
Oshkosh Convention and Visitors Bureau *common destination for local residents to spend the day*
Fox Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau *probably the best options for those that want to REALLY shop*
Wisconsin Dells Convention and Visitors Bureau *scenic options, the town is a major summer destination, though beautiful year round*

  1. Don't forget that's March. Could be 4 feet of snow or 80 degrees, who knows?
